1969 Ford Mustang convertible restoration project For Sale.
1969 Ford Mustang Convertible restoration/restomod project with a clean title. A substantial amount of structural and sheet-metal work has already been completed, and the car has been set up with a modern 5.0 Coyote swap in mind.
The car has a Total Control Products firewall-length front subframe/clip installed with 5.0 Coyote engine mounts. It also has new convertible rear frame rails and significant floor and structural work already completed or underway.
Included with the car are:
• Clean title
• Total Control Products firewall-length front subframe / suspension setup
• TCP 5.0 Coyote engine mounts
• New driver- and passenger-side convertible rear frame rails
• Ford 9-inch rear end
• Seats
• New back windshield
• Replacement rear quarter/body panels
• Front sheet metal/panels
• Various interior, trim, and additional restoration parts
• Other miscellaneous Mustang parts collected for the build
The car does NOT currently have the power convertible-top assembly or power-top motor.
Please note that this is an unfinished restoration project and will require additional welding/bodywork, drivetrain, suspension, wiring, interior work, paint, and final assembly. I have not completed a full inventory of every original small trim piece, bracket, chrome item, or accessory, so the car is being sold with the parts shown and described rather than represented as a completely inventoried kit.
A 2020 Gen 3 5.0L Coyote engine was originally intended for the project but is not included with the Mustang.
This would be an excellent starting point for someone looking to build a high-quality Coyote-powered 1969 Mustang Convertible restomod without beginning with an untouched shell.
Asking $13,900 OBO.
