1st gen 1969 Ford Mustang R Code 428 Cobra Jet Mach 1 For Sale.

1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 fastback 428 cobra jet R code

Engine magma flux, bored over and complete rebuild by Gerlick Machine Shop here in the Phoenix valley, approx 800 miles or less on it. nickel seats have been placed in the heads so you can use unleaded gasoline without hurting valves/heads. New Holley carburetor, New Tremec TKX 5 speed overdrive transmission. All new upper and lower control arms replaced, along with all new ball joints, steering linkage, front and rear brakes. Complete functional Shaker air cleaner assembly. All new door and trunk locks.

9 inch rear end was removed and rebuilt along with all hub bearings. See pics. Everything was taken off the bottom of the car. The undercoating was scraped off. No rust. The bottom of the car was re-sprayed with red oxide, primer exactly the way it came from the factory. We then ran all new fuel lines, new brake lines and a brand new gas tank. I have extra pics of all above work as it progressed.

Completely new interior, carpet, dash pad, door panels. 2 sets of tires and wheels come with the car. (See pics) The smaller Cragar BFGoodrich wheel tire combo are what is currently on the car for more of a stock look. I have all the history on the car along with a clean title and Marti report.

Engine is correct date and exact match for car but not numbers matching.
