5th gen 2014 Ford Mustang Roush RS package manual For Sale.

The Roush RS package for the Mustang proved six-cylinder models of the original pony car can be just as stylish and fun to drive as their V-8 counterparts. This 2014 Ford Mustang Roush RS delivers a decidedly racy look, with a lowered stance, performance tires, and a lengthy list of appearance upgrades. It also shows only 13,690 miles on the odometer, and is said to be in “near perfect” condition, and, with its six-speed manual gearbox and nearly $8,000 in Roush equipment.

POWERTRAIN

Ford’s 3.7-liter Ti-VCT DOHC, 24-valve V-6 engine powers this pony car and was rated at 305 horsepower when new. It appears to be in stock condition, and “starts and runs like brand-new.” It has the optional Roush exhaust.

EXTERIOR

A distinctive appearance defined the Roush RS package, and its unique features include a high-flow upper grille, front chin spoiler, bar-style lower grille, rocker splitters, decklid spoiler, “Roush” badging, and windshield banner. This example is also decked out with a number of options, including 19-inch wheels, a hood scoop, hood graphic, and more. There are also rear quarter window louvers. All of the unique elements are in “like new” condition, with no reported blemishes and no rust. The glass is also said to be in “great shape,” with no scratches or cracks, along with leak-free seals. No reported issues with the exterior lights, either, which include HID projector headlamps and sequential taillights.

INTERIOR

Along with the exterior, the cabin of the Mustang received a Roush makeover that includes performance pedals, a center console badge, billet-look door sill panels, a white shift knob, and “RS”-embroidered leather seats. With fewer than 14,000 miles, there is little in the way of visible wear on the interior, with some very minor wear showing in the leather seat covers, but no tears or holes. The carpet and headliner are said to be in “like new” condition, and all of the factory power accessories, gauges, lights, and air-conditioning system work normally. The same goes for the satellite-radio-capable factory audio system.

CHASSIS

The chassis and suspension systems are reported to be in stock condition, as upgraded by Roush, with no known issues or needs. Roush’s enhancements include lowering springs, with unique jounce bumpers. No suspension service is known to have been performed on the car since new and the brake system performs well, with no reported vibrations. The car rolls on 19-inch aluminum wheels and Pirelli tires that were part of an optional package. The tires are said to be original, showing approximately three-quarters of their tread remaining, while the wheels also appear to be in very good condition — although one of the wheels shows some blemishes in the paint that are visible in the accompanying photos.
