Selling my 1992 Ford Mustang LX Convertible with the 2.3L inline-4. Very solid car with a good history and lots of recent maintenance.

81,036 miles (77,625 when purchased)

Believed 2 owners before me

Previously owned by an older woman and mainly garage-kept

Convertible top replaced sometime between 2014–2018 (still in good shape)

No major rust. Just typical rust on the outer wheel wells of the fenders.

NO ROT.

New torque converter

New transmission lines

New radiator & water pump

New heater core

New fuel tank, neck & fuel pump

New spark plugs, wires & ignition coils

New headlights

Brand-new front tires

Driving Condition

Recently completed a 340-mile / ~5-hour highway trip with zero issues

Smooth cruiser, very comfortable on the highway

Suspension is a bit spongy, but rides smooth

Minor valve cover seep (recommend new gasket)

Will need:

Electric radiator fans

A-pillar weatherstripping

Windshield wiper motor

No leaks currently; I’d recommend replacing all convertible top moldings eventually for long-term peace of mind
